I have 2 different tables, Hires and Terms. Hires has hiring date (string) and Terms has termed date (date format). I changed the hiring date to date format using DATEPARSE function. I need to visualize hires vs terms on one continuous date field. I have tried this creating custom date using 'Months' Date value but plotting it on either of the custom date gives wrong number of hires/leavers and do not show all months (even if those months don't have hire/terms data). I want to see all the months (with/without data) with the right number of terms and hires in one view. Also My data tables are snowflake queries and joined with a table without date field as the default table. I do not have an option to use excel date table.
