Tableau Foundation | Donated licenses for small non-profits

Aug 16, 2021, 9:53 AM Through this initiative, small non-profits and NGOs anywhere in the world can request donations of Tableau Desktop. Now anyone in the organization can explore the data and spot trends, outliers, and even new opportunities.
This is a fully-functioning version of Tableau. It is the same product that tens of thousands of companies around the world rely on to improve their business. Use of Tableau Desktop through this program is not restricted to any business unit or function. And the intuitive interface requires no pre-requisite technical knowledge. Now everyone can make data-informed decisions to drive impact.
Join the thousands of non-profits already using Tableau to cut the clutter and focus on the things that are really important.
To qualify, a non-profit must:
- Be officially recognized tax-exempt organization in one of the countries listed below
- Operate with an annual budget under $5 million (or equivalent in local currency)
- Not be a school, college, mutual organization, healthcare organization, or government agency
- Not be a religious organization incorporated exclusively for the promotion of the religion
Hi!
I live in the DC area and was wondering if this group ever meets up? If so, can I get more details on the locations and times?
I would like to enhance my IT Dashboard. Currently we capture data about HelpDesk tickets and Financial Metrics. What other metrics can I can include to enhance my Dashboard?
Jul 12, 2019, 3:33 PM Michelle - are you still looking for input? The key, of course, it to know your audience. If this is a C-suite dashboard they are looking for infor on productivity e.g. how many tickets answered? how fast are the tickets closed? how much is this costing us? WRT to Tableau there are some really fun visuals that allow you to slice and dice the data by day of week, a given week. This was a fun one https://www.thedataschool.co.uk/anuka-teggart/how-to-create-a-calendar-in-tableau/

Is there any upcoming event scheduled from this group?
Is it still active ?
Thank you,
George
Hi all,
As we work to plan out our first meeting (tentatively: March 21, announcements to follow soon), I'd love to hear what people are particularly interested in hearing about and discussing.
Are there problems you've had? Questions that keep coming up? Examples of successful projects or workbooks you'd like to see or share?
