Hi all -- I'm a professor of advertising at CU Boulder. We're looking for an adjunct to help us with teaching Tableau this fall (and beyond). If you're in the Boulder area and want to help the younger generation make a name for themselves in data viz, this is a great way to give back. Send me an email at: Christopher.vargo@colorado.edu
Hi All!
We wanted to check in and let you know about a few awesome Tableau opportunities coming up in the next couple of weeks!
We miss you all, and hope you're finding ways to connect and to continue to work, and that you are safe and sound. Stay tuned for details on the Boulder TUG's next User Group.
Take care,
Heather
It was so great having so many of you join us for our first Virtual Boulder Tableau User Group this Tuesday, 4/14. It's so important now, more than ever, that we stay connected.
For those of you who couldn't make it, no worries, we've got you covered! As promised, herehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vAsMlS3Szvs&feature=youtu.be is the recording of this week's Virtual Boulder TUG meeting.
We also had one question we didn't have time to answer during the "Stump the Chump" Session regarding sorting, so Chris and I got together after the meeting and recorded the answer herehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f6vpd1bgWAE - ENJOY!:
Finally, we'd like to have more Virtual Boulder TUG's in the future. Please take a minute to let us know your thoughts and preferences by completing this super quick (4-question) survey! For those of you who didn't attend, you can just skip question 3.
As always, eel free to reach out if you have any questions about the event, are curious about other programs, workshops, networking sessions, or user group meetings, or just want to say hi. We'd love to hear from you. Just email heather@boulderinsight.com.

Hello!
I’m reaching out to you all today to encourage you to compete in Go Code Colorado, the free public data analytics & business competition. This year, the competition is offering a full Saturday of mentorship, team-building, data-exploration and idea vetting and 4 teams will win $15,000 each without obligation. It is a great way to gain experience, network with others in the community, and have fun. The Secretary of State’s office is the host of the event and keeps attendees well fed and hydrated (with beer donated by Great Divide) all day.
I could not be more excited about the competition this year and would love to have you join us! I will be teaching an hour long FREE Tableau class at both Challenge Days and would love to see your faces.
Let me know if I can answer any questions.
Thanks!
Heather
