Displaced Persons Empowerment
On the eve before Dreamforce we're excited to formally launch this community and to welcome you to this space where we are gathering as Trailblazers who are offering to support Displaced Persons in our ecosystem.
On World Refugee Day in June 2023, Salesforce announced a partnership with Tent.org to upskill 1,500 refugees and support the hiring of 600 refugees through the Salesforce Talent Alliance. This built on Salesforce’s existing efforts to support displaced individuals through our incredible ecosystem of customers and partners, refugee-serving nonprofit partners, and employee action.
As we all look to scale this work and support more displaced persons we’d like to invite the whole Trailblazer community to support programs and partnerships to help more and more displaced persons join and benefit from our Trailblazer Ecosystem.
To help accelerate our collective action, we ask that you join us in the following:
- Fill out this form to let us know about the incredible work you are already doing to support displaced persons, and/or ways you'd like to get more involved.
- If you are an employer with open positions, review this resume book with a fantastic set of examples of displaced persons available for hire right now.
- Share this group with your network. Example LinkedIn here.
- At Dreamforce? Follow the workforce development tracks; connect through meetup; visit the Deloitte booth at 5:00 - 6:30pm on Tuesday or 3:30 - 4:30pm on Wednesday.
