I have installed the connector for an existing B2B commerce site. Do I need to replace all of the components just to allow the customer to see the TWO subscription products?
Oct 30, 2023, 8:13 AM Hi @Micah Johnson ,
As per my understanding, when integrating a B2B commerce site with a new connector or module, you typically don't need to replace all of your existing components just to display a couple of new subscription products. Instead, you can make targeted modifications to your existing setup.
Here's what you can do:
- Configure the Connector: First, ensure that you've properly configured and integrated the connector with your B2B commerce site. This typically involves setting up the necessary API connections and data synchronization.
- Add Subscription Products: To display the new subscription products, you can add them to your product catalog within your B2B commerce site. This might involve creating new product records or modifying existing ones to include subscription options.
- Update Product Display: Depending on your site's design and structure, you may need to update how products are displayed to include the subscription options. This can involve making changes to product listing pages, product detail pages, and cart pages to allow customers to view and select subscription products.
- Navigation and Menu: If your site uses a menu or navigation structure, consider adding links or menu items that direct customers to the subscription products or a dedicated subscription section.
- Pricing and Checkout: Ensure that the pricing and checkout processes are updated to handle subscription pricing models. Customers should be able to select subscription terms and complete the checkout process seamlessly.
- Testing: Thoroughly test the changes to ensure that the subscription products are displayed correctly and that customers can add them to their cart and check out without issues.
- Documentation and Customer Communication: Update your site's documentation and communicate the availability of subscription products to your customers, so they are aware of the new offerings.
It's essential to make these changes while keeping the existing functionality and components intact. Replacing all components might not be necessary, and it can be more time-consuming and disruptive. Targeted modifications should be sufficient to introduce the new subscription products to your customers.

I order to complete the set up of the connector there is a step to upload components from this folder. Could you please share it maybe under files? Thanks! Niels
