NDIS and Aged Care related PII is very sensitive and therefore a highly secured posture is needed. Here is a security-focused webinar that seems relevant for many in this group.

Hi Everyone,
We are looking for a full time Salesforce Administrator / Analysis to assist us with our go live and post go live activities. Does anyone have the details of an Employment Agency that they have successfully used in the past and can recommend?
Many Thanks
Apr 21, 2022, 10:43 AM Hi - We as a tech firm based out of India provide salesforce support
Hey team, @Geovanna Pazmino, long time no see! @Jonathan (Yoni) Deutsch, we are still close in this group! I saw some of the videos there, and it is not clear to me the reason that we are treating a NDIS Client as a "Contact". For me, it would make more sense to assess them as an Account. So, I have some questions:
(1) Do you have different Contact Record Types for their Parents, Legal Guardian, or who is performing the services? Or do you simply have just one Contact form that shows everything to every contact even though they are not clients ? -- i.e. suppose we are creating a Client's Father contact , if we don't have different record types, then the Father will have a field "NDIS NUMBER" which might be unclear for the user
(1.1) Do you recommend to create additional record types for Contacts?
(2) if CPQ can consider "Client Account", can we create a special Record Type for Account and relate services to the Account Client (of course, connecting the Client's Household as a Field in Client's Account)? Or does CPQ need that we treat the Client as a Contact? #Best Practices
Oct 27, 2021, 11:11 PM (answering 1.1 based on PowerOfUs -- Contact (force.com)) This is for EAD , though still applicable for NDIS, do you agree?
"Contact Record Types Because a Contact can play multiple roles at once—an alumni of one program, a current student in another program, a tutor, and also a sports team member—we don't provide record types out of the box. Creating custom record types that don’t conflict with each other can be tricky, so in general, we don’t recommend it. If you do create them, make sure they're for Contacts for whom only one record type applies. To track a Contact's roles with various organizational entities, consider creating Affiliation records instead."
Hi everyone @ANZ: NDIS & Aged Care @ANZ Disability Service Providers
We deliver primarily allied health and specialist consulting services to people who are blind or have low vision. We decided years ago to allow our service providers to stick to using their favourite calendar Outlook and have events sync between Salesforce/Skedulo and Outlook (so yes 3 calendars essentially :( ). It's a two way sync. We have been trying to transition from the Salesforce for Outlook sync tool to the Lightning tool and are encountering a few issues. I am keen to know: How do your service providers manage their time with calendars? Do they use a 'main' calendar? if so what is it and how? Any insights you can share are greatly appreciated!
Well I thought as I am a new member, I should start a little post? A quick update from Yooralla. We are a long way in our CPQ/Billing project having just done end-to-end walkthroughs with all the key stakeholders. The efficiency gains are very significant, the simplicity CPQ delivers with the standard renewals & amendments process a major step forward. We are using Product Bundles to allow Service Bookings at Support Category level thereby giving Customers great flexibility on how & where they spend their funding. At to this that we are integrating with NDIA Portal data and will virtually eliminate claim rejections. There is a very significant story emerging here
Apr 26, 2019, 2:25 AM Hi Matt,
I have just returned from Easter Leave. That is excellent to hear that the Salesforce is able to replicate the NDIA format without any issues. I look forward to hearing more about Yoralla's Salesforce journey in the future.
Kind Regards,
Katrina.
