Hello all and happy Winter '22 Release!  Grants Management version 1.19 will start pushing to sandbox orgs. Please look for this version in your org over the next couple of days.

Critical Changes

• Introducing the Review Workspace. The Review Workspace offers a one-stop shop for everything a person completing a review needs to see about a Funding Request and complete their review. Admins set up the Review Workspace to display details from Funding Request and related records. Learn how to customize your Review Workspaces in Create and Customize Reviews.
• To support the new Review Workspace feature, we updated the Grants Management: Review Workspace - Evaluate Funding Request and added a new permission set named Grants Management: Review Workspace - Configure Workspace. Assign the appropriate users to these permission sets:
• Grants Management: Review Workspace - Configure Workspace: assign admins who configure the Review Workspace for reviewers.
• Grants Management: Review Workspace - Evaluate Funding Request: assign users who complete reviews using the Review Workspace.
• We included a new page layout for the Review object to streamline the review submission process. Assign this new page layout to your user profiles. Learn more in the Assign the Grants Management Review Layout section of Post Installation Tasks.

Hi all! OutboundFundsModuleSite version 1.1 is a new package being made available tonight via a new installer called OFM Fundseeker Starter Portal Template. Now, Outbound Fund Module customers can create a fundseeker portal where fundseekers can search for and apply for funding, submit required documentation, and view awarded disbursements. See Outbound Funds Module documentation for installation and setup information. 

Changes

• We added an Experience Builder template called Fundseeker Starter Portal Template that lets you set up a fundseeker portal. 
• We created the Fundseeker Plus Login profile that grants permissions to users of your fundseeker portal. 
  • We added My Applications to the OFM - Portal Navigation menu that allows Fundseeker Plus Login users to view their Funding Requests. 
  • We created the new Funding Request Site Page Layout and assigned it to the Fundseeker Plus Login profile. 
• We added a navigation menu option called OFM - Portal Navigation that, when added to your fundseeker portal, lets fundseekers see available Funding Programs. 
• If you use the Outbound Funds Module Fundseeker Starter Portal Template and Build Site installer, the OFM - Portal Navigation menu is automatically assigned as the default navigation menu.
• A fundseeker can create and complete an application (Funding Request) from a Funding Program. 
• We added the OFM Funding Program Site Layout, OFM Requirement Site Layout, and OFM Disbursement Site Layout page layouts to the Fundseeker Plus Login and guest user profile. 
• A fundseeker can upload and delete files before submitting a Requirement. Once files are uploaded, a user can submit the Requirement. 
• Fundseekers can register for an account and log into the fundseeker portal. 
• If Digital Experiences is enabled, the Outbound Funds Module Fundseeker Start Portal Template installer will install the Outbound Funds Module Experience Builder package. 
• We added branding to the Fundseeker Starter Portal template that can be updated with your organization's branding.

Multi-Section Application Flow

For new customers, we added two sample flows (Grants Management: Multi-Section Application Form Launcher (Sample) and Grants Management Subflow: Multi-Section Application Form Screen (Sample)) that, when cloned and configured, create an application that’s divided into navigable sections while letting grantseekers also save and return to an in progress application. For more information, check out Create a Multi-Section Application.

In addition, we added several Lightning web components that support the multi-section application experience, but can be used else where. These components include:

• We added the Unscheduled Disbursements report that shows awarded Funding Requests that have available funds to be scheduled for disbursement.
• We added the Upcoming Disbursements report that shows Disbursements that haven't been paid, but that are due over the next 12 months.

Reviews

• We added the Review custom object to collect feedback from people reviewing grant applications.
• We added the Submitted Date field to the Review object to track the date that the review was submitted.
• We created the Submit Review quick action, which can be added to the Review record page to make it easier for a reviewer to submit their review.
• We created the Open Reviews list view that shows all Reviews that don't have a Submitted Status.

For Grants Management, version 1.14 will start pushing to production orgs. Please look for this version in your org over the next couple of days.

• We added the Verification Items Lightning web component, which can be added to the Funding Request, Requirement, Disbursement, and Contact Lightning record pages, allowing grantmakers to see Verification Items and search for an organization’s tax status from that page.
• We added the Sharing button to the Review, Funding Request, and Requirement page layouts to let grantmakers share a record and see who the record has been shared with.
• We added FundingProgramApplyButtonController Apex class access to the guest user profile and the Grants Management Base Access permission set. When assigned, this shows the Apply button on a Funding Program.
• We added the Grants Management: Review - Manage permission set that gives an assigned user Create, Read, and Update access to the Review object.

Issues Closed

• The Status field on Verification Items doesn't translate to a user's preferred non-English language.
