Admin Virtual Bootcamp - Rocktober

Are you attending the Admin Virtual Bootcamp with Sara, starting October and ending in December? This is the space for you to connect! :)

Hi!  I got a non-paid project working for a non-profit!  Does anyone have a starter question or list of what they start with when setting up an organization so nothing is missed?

Hello Team, after failing it once I signed up a week later. It helps to take it once to have an idea of whats on it and what you need to study.

I passed the CSA this past Wednesday. Just wanted to encourage you and let you know that it is possible. I did two months of the boot camp and just studied the prep. I also studied focus on force.

I started to apply for salesforce admin/analyst/consultant jobs on Saturday. My next pursuit will be the superuser badges. Let me know if you have any suggestions on how to land a job.

Hello Classmates.  I just wanted to share that today I became a Certified Salesforce Administrator. What a journey to get to this point.  Although I had to get laid off to finally find the time to study and prepare, I'm so excited that this door has opened.

I just want to encourage all of you to keep at it, keep studying, and keep on the journey. You can do it! This class was great, but it was just a small portion of my overall journey. Keep learning!

I'd like to keep in touch with you...feel free to introduce yourself to me on LinkedIn and let's keep in touch, I'd love to keep in touch and see where your Salesforce Journey takes you!

Hopefully now I can get a job where I utilize these skills and contribute to this amazing ecosphere of Salesforce!  May the Force be with all of you!  Best Wishes to you all!  And Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all!

Hi everyone! I'm still new-ish to Salesforce (as of October) and I'm trying to figure out the best way to run reports based on user information for admin purposes. I have a queue that we manage the users through public groups. I want to run a report to get a snapshot of who is in those groups from a high level and cross-reference if they have other system settings configured correctly (in the public group, chat configurations, presence configs, etc.). Is there an easy way to do this in reports or workbench? I'm not finding the right information I need -

Focus on force has a question on "native surveys". I don't even remember learning about Native surveys.

@Vinh NguyenThat is the beauty of the FocusOnForce and the Admin Practice Exams, they open your eyes to the many, many things that this test can cover! FocusOnForce and going through those exam questions are amazing. I bought both the study guide and the exam questions...they were a big part of bridging my experience with the head game of the exam, and finally passing. Every question they ask in those exam questions then gives you answers and links to resources, so if you don't know it, you don't have to hunt and peck to try and find answers...they usually provide you with enough to understand the basics of the topics at hand.

Hello! I have been a SF non-certified admin since 2012. I worked with a consultant to implement the system within my company. She not only showed me the ropes but sucked me right into the Salesforce world! 4 Dreamforces later I can't believe it's taken me this long to get back on the train of Certification. I wish everyone the best of luck. This class and it's participants were awesome! Cheers!
