I love Process Builder and we are using it to automat more and more of our processes but unfortunately it seems that it does not work that well with standard Email Notification. Is there a change that SFDC can consider that new tools should support standard SFDC functions.
It is pretty hard to figure out what is working and what is not?

Auto Notification Emails not firing when Process Builder is invoked within same transaction
Summary
For transactions supposed to send automated email notifications, if there is a process builder visual workflow invocation within the same transaction, email notification is not fired.
Note: This is not a bug, but a feature limitation with process builder
Workaround
Use workflow instead of process builder
