This is an official group for communicating about the Salesforce Groups product with the Salesforce product team. We would love to know how you are using Groups in your orgs.     @Brendan Murphy you are correct, while ERI cannot replace logos, it does scrape news data off the web and serves them to users in the account context. Additionally, users are able to generate new accounts with the aid of the side-panel extension.

I have a client who is exploring Chatter in a sandbox with a view to making a decision on whether to roll it out across the organisation. They have come up with a couple of issues which they would appreciate help on.

 

1 - Daily Chatter Digest. They aren't receiving the digest email. We've turned on email from Setup. It seems that the only person who can receive the digest email is the person who created the sandbox. This kind of makes sense but they wanted to be sure this was the case, and that it would all be OK in production. Does anyone have experience of this?

 

2 - They are using 'Follow' to follow Contact records. There doesn't seem to be a way to get a list of all the Contacts that they follow. I've suggested that this seems to be the case but they want confirmation. Does anyone have experience of this?

    When the user can't upload file with extension XLSX.

     

    But I found solution, in Digital experience > workspace> administration > preference >

    have the option to choose the approved types of files for upload.

Has anyone customized/set up a Chatter group that you are proud of? Please share a screenshot in the comments!  Context: We are rebuilding our customer and partner community and need to make some decisions in how we design the ux for the Chatter groups. Rather starting from scratch we'd love to see some ideas on how other folks have designed/set up the ux for their Chatter groups. Thanks in advance!

@* Salesforce Administrators * @Chatter Groups Feedback and Discussion Does anyone know if there is a way to assign a dummy or entire email alias to Chatter rather than each person receiving a notification to the group.  Can we assign an email alias group to a Chatter Group to manage the notifications?

It would be very useful to have a notification badge on the Trailblazer Community Collaboration landing page to indicate a count for new Posts or Replies in Groups that I follow which I have not read yet.

We currently use groups to bunch together like contacts across many different accounts. We are trying to move toward a collaboration/community effort among some of our groups. However, based on the type of work we do we don't want every user to see every group available. We want to be able to expose groups based on a person's role/badge (i.e. government relations can only see government relations groups). Is this possible?
