Geocoding Beta - Winter '16

Hi,

I have a customer using the Geocode rules in their Sandbox and are incurring an error "  "There's been a data service error or a problem accessing the data service, so you can't completely clean this record. Try again later." Are you aware of any issues with the release? @Gage Hudson 

Hi Team,

My customer would like to join the Geocoding Beta program. Is it still possible? I did not find any information on it. 

My company is currently participating in the beta and have found this feature to be very easy to set up and use. We had a couple follow-up questions, so hopefully this is the right place to address these questions:

• Is the beta also available for installation in production?
• I see this is associated with Data.com. Once this is generally available, will there be a cost associated with this service?
• Is this feature on track to be generally available in Spring ’16?

What are the formats of the Geocodes that will be in Salesforce?

Are the codes sourced from Google? How do they relate to

the Google maps Geocodes?
