Just a heads up that the Bootcamp Know Before You Go email has gone out to everyone registered. Please take a few minutes to read through it carefully — it has all the details you'll need for the event (logistics, what to bring, etc.). 

 

If you don't see it in your inbox, please check your Spam/Junk folder before reaching out — it sometimes gets filtered there.

    @Kirra Mesches and @Matthew Sedmak The email was sent on 9/3. Unfortunately, I am not able to determine why you aren't receiving this email, but you are receiving all other Dreamforce emails. It is sent to the same email that you registered with. The next email to go out will be the Certification Voucher email. This will go out tomorrow before lunch, if you do not receive it, please let me know. TY!

Trailblazer Bootcamp Day 1!

We are so excited to welcome you all to Trailblazer Bootcamp today! Below are a few reminders: 

 

Event Location 

Salesforce West

50 Fremont St.

San Francisco, CA 94105 

* Please note:

some classes will take place across the street at Salesforce Tower and you will be given your room location at check-in.  

 

Check-in & Badge Pickup (Photo ID required)

  • Regular Check-in: Saturday, September 12, 8:00 a.m.– 9:00 a.m at Salesforce West. You will need your Guest Services QR code for entry. Class begins promptly at 9:00 a.m.
  • Your bootcamp badge is also your Dreamforce conference badge, please wear it at all times.

Bring Your Own Laptop

Trailblazer Bootcamp does not provide laptops — you'll need to bring your own, along with any necessary cables and chargers. Also, please confirm ahead of time that your admin permissions allow you to connect to public  the Salesforce Wi-Fi. 

 

Breakfast will be available beginning at 8:00am

D360 Developer Prep -- Creating the Scratch Org

I must have missed this one nuance. Can you point me in the right direction? I created a D360 dev scratch org thinking I could use that for the trailhead.  I was doing fine as it has a default data space configured and I have D360 Admin rights. 

 

But now the steps in the trailhead are telling me to configure my Marketing Connect account ??   

 

Was there a specific pre-configured trailhead test org I was supposed to provision?  I am clicking around trailhead everywhere looking but cannot seem to find any such thing.

    UPDATE: Once I got to a specific sub-section of the trail mix .... the new module had at the top of the web page "Create Playground" . So I am now using both that playground and my scratch org.   Let's see how that goes :-)

Prework At 71%

I did the prework for "Administrator Bootcamp Prework".    

Everything shows as complete and yet it still shows 52 minutes remaining and 71% complete.   There is nothing else I see that can be done.   Am I the only person that experienced this? 

On a side note, two of the links directed me to 404 pages and it appeared that maybe the page was moved or deleted.

Certification

Am I understanding correctly that in attending Bootcamp and Dreamforce: 

- I will have the opportunity to take one onsite exam during Dreamforce (a guaranteed seat is reserved for me at the preconference exam session on September 14th at 5:30pm) 

AND 

- I will receive one (1) Salesforce certification voucher, redeemable after Dreamforce (expires August 31, 2027) 

If I am understanding correctly, this means that I could receive my Administrator Certification during Dreamforce (provided I pass the exam) and then study and receive my Advanced Administrator Certification (provided I pass the exam) using my voucher sometime after Dreamforce and before August 31, 2027.  Is that right?

I registered for the Data Cloud Consultant Trailblazer Bootcamp at Dreamforce 2026. Which prework track should I complete? The available options include Data 360 Specialist, Data 360 Developer, Data Architect, and OmniStudio Consultant.

I registered for the Data Cloud Consultant Trailblazer Bootcamp at Dreamforce 2026. However, I’m unsure which prework track I should complete because there is no track specifically labeled “Data Cloud Consultant.”

The available options include Data 360 Specialist, Data 360 Developer, Data Architect, and OmniStudio Consultant, among others.

Could you please confirm which prework track is required or recommended for the Data Cloud Consultant bootcamp?

For reference, my registration confirmation shows:

    Hi @kavya soma You are registered for the Data 360 Developer track. You can access the prework by clicking on the link provided in your Know Before You Go Email and you will see the prework for Data 360 Developer.

    Yes!  you can find the details in the attachment as well.   

    Trailblazer Bootcamp participants will receive one certification exam voucher code via email.  The Bootcamp voucher must be redeemed

    after the event

    and can be applied toward online-proctored exams or in-person testing center exams.    

    For Dreamforce, you will not be able to use the voucher during our certification, but you also can take advantage of one (1) complimentary attempt during Dreamforce.  You'll receive more information about it during bootcamp and our certification team will be onsite should you have any additional questions.
