I've just updated to Tableau Public 2026.2.0, and am now unable to publish a workbook that I was happily publishing previously. . When I select 'select 'Run Optimizer' I get the following error message:
Unexpected error
Error: TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'apply')
Followed by:
Unexpected Error
HybridDialog JS is not responding across webchannel. Aborting show
Error Code: 2B2D38E4
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Adding to this thread that the same has happened to me. Ever since upgrading to 2026.2 I get the exact same two error messages as Deb notes above. Doesn't seem to be any way around it except rolling back to 2026.1.
