Previously, we were extracting Salesforce data into Tableau using Pentao. However, after Salesforce disabled the SOAP API, all of our existing automations and data flows stopped working.
To address this, we have already shared the Salesforce Live System REST API details with the Tableau team. However, they are still using Pentao and executing queries through it.
Could you please suggest a simpler and more efficient approach for connecting Salesforce with Tableau using the REST API or any other recommended integration method? Our objective is to have a reliable, maintainable, and future-proof solution.
