Configuring default footer on Office 365 Add In

Hi, 

 

I am starting to test the PowerPoint Add In to embed a Tableau Viz as an image. 

 

At the bottom of the inserted image, there is a footer that looks like: 

"Image added <Date/Time> by <UserName>" 

 

Is there a way to either customize this or hide it? I am not sure whether this is something done in the viz source, a Tableau Cloud setting, or a change to the Add In itself.

    Hi @Kevin Tierney, 

     

    As of now, the footer "Image added <Date/Time> by <UserName>" added by the Tableau PowerPoint Office 365 Add-In is a built-in feature and cannot be customized or disabled through Tableau Cloud settings.  

     

    If you need to remove it, the only workaround is to manually edit or crop the footer in PowerPoint after inserting the image. You may also consider submitting an enhancement request to Tableau if this functionality is important for your use case.
