Hello Tableau Community,

I have ran into a problem of where I am trying to group the members in a diagram that I can see the sum of all of the grouped bars. The ones that I am trying to group into one bar is blue as you can see in the image:

How to group member so that what I'm trying to group is one bar?But I'm trying to make all of those blue bars into one bar so I can see the sum of them combined instead of just seeing gray vs blue. Could someone please help me?

    Hi John,

    Right-click Year Founded then Create then Group:

    Hi John,Right-click Year Founded then Create then Group:Select all the years you intend to group, then click Apply:Then rename as appropriate - Just usedSelect all the years you intend to group, then click Apply:

    ScreenThen rename as appropriate - Just used "Previous Years':

    ScreenThen drag and drop that new group onto Columns on top of your existing Year Founded to replace:

    ScreenYou can edit the Axis as needed for that by right-clicking and edit alias:

    ScreenThat may cause that bar to float to the right, just select it and drag it back to the left. Best, Don
