In order to gauge which extracts are being used (or rather which aren't so I can remove them) I wanted to link the historical activity to the "hist_datasources" as I have the text "extract" in each of the datasources that are extracts.
Any way to link the datasource_id to the historical_events table? The historical_events table does have a field called "datasource_id", but it's NULL for every record...If someone knows of a different way to track extract usage, I'm all ears...

You should be looking for the "Access Datasource" event type name. Events of this type should be created whenever a view is loaded that connects to a published datasource. Let me know if you're not seeing that in your data, though.
