Hello! Can someone please help me - this is driving me crazy now :-) I have a list of boards and I want the end user to select a board, or select all.

Question

I have created a parameter (list with individual boards and a field for 'All') However when I tried a calculated field with

[Select IVZ Board]= [IVZ boards]

OR [Select IVZ Board] = 'All'

Only the fields where the is only single IVZ board return, as I think the comma in the string is causing issues and I don't know how to overcome this.

Any help would be much appreciated, thank you .

sorry but the way parameters work is that they have a single value that needs to be backed up with a calculation or a filter which actually does the work I read that you have IVZ boards like IAML which is separate from IAMD and separate from IUK  and you want the user to be able to multi select board a selecting a single parameter value?  that can be done but it is clunky on the dev end - you would do it with a long cases statement   case Parametervalue When "IAML, IAMD, IUK" then ( IVZboard="IAML" or  IVZboard="IAMD" or  IVZboard="IUK" }   when ...   and you would do that for each of the multi select  and follow that with   Ivzboard = parametervalue   like yoiu have done   you will need to add an ALL clause as you have done   see the simple superstore example attached - it will show you the concept   Jim
