Hi @Ken Estes​, yes you can go from v. 2023.1.11 to v. 2023.3. It is actually just one major release jump.

You can do a several major release upgrade jump as well, but generally speaking you need also to check more in detail the release notes and documentation, what has eventually changed with Security, Connector, Drivers, Topology, Embedding, APIs etc... So basically a round of testing.

That's why if you were planning to do an in-place upgrade, you should consider doing a "blue-green" deployment where you provision a fresh second environment where validation occurs at the upgraded version, then you do a Tableau backup / restore then swap / repoint DNS or Reverse Proxy that you may have. In case, you recovery strategy in case something is wrong is also solid.
