Hi everyone,

I created a bar chart in Tableau using Measure Values (so that I can display multiple measures in one view).

Now I have two measures: SUM and %. When I hover over a bar, I would like the tooltip to show both SUM and % of that specific measure.

The issue is: currently when I use Measure Values, the tooltip only shows the active measure’s value, not both SUM and % together for that bar.

For example, when hovering over the % bar, I want the tooltip to show something like:

%: 35%

SUM: 120

Is there any way to achieve this while still using Measure Values? Or should I restructure my data / use calculated fields to combine them?

Thanks a lot!Tableau: Show both SUM and % in tooltip when using Measure Valuesimage (4)

The first line of my reply addresses the issue of getting values in the tooltip.

The main problem, however, is not showing values in the tooltip. It is that your bar chart does not make sense.
