Hi,

I must be doing something wrong. I have created a dashboard with two views one for default and one for phone. I have set up the phone layout to look good on mobile. I publish the dashboard. When I log into the mobile app I am shown only the default layout.

I log into the mobile app using SSO though my company's app so i am not sure if that has anything to do with which layout i am seeing.

This is how it is set up, in my company's web application we have a link that users click on and that makes an api call using sso it redirects them to tableau. so, when I go to log into the mobile app I log into tableau then it redirects me to my companies log in page and i log in there and then i am redirected to the tableau mobile app. i click on the dashboard that has the phone layout and it will display the dashboard in the default layout. What am i doing wrong?

    Hi Shawnee,

It's the 'viewport size' that does matter.

The 'viewport size' is the size of a browser / app window (ex chrome & UI).

If less than 800px (either width or height) -- the Tablet Layout has been triggered.

If less than 500px (either width or height) -- the Phone Layout has been triggered.

    Hope it helps with Layouts.

    Yours,

    Yuri
