Ability to get volume using an intake date and end date and getting both records to fit when filtering by a date filter by year and quarter

Hello,

I have two date fields :

1. Intake date
2. End Date

What I want is:

An overall date filter that I can filter by year and quarter and get:

1. Records that fall in (example 2023 q1) for both intake and end date
2. Records that fall in (example 2023 q1) for intake date but NOT end date
3. Records that fall in (example 2023 q1) NOT Intake date but end date

I just want to be sure that if I filter to (example 2023 q1) that I am getting anything with an intake date that fell in (example 2023 q1) even if the end date doesn't and the vice versa for end date

as if both dates have data in (example 2023 q1) I want that as well.

example filter to 2023 q1:

Record 1: intake date 1/1/2023 / End date 5/1/2023 - Still count because of intake day

Records 2: Intake date 7/1/2023/ end date 2/3/2023- Still count because of end date

Record 3: Intake date 2/1/2023/ end date 3/4/2023- Count because both dates fall

Record 4: Intake date 7/1/2023 /end date 8/1/2023 - DON't count because not in 2023 q1
