I'm working on a workbook having multiple dashboards and filter actions (menu) applied in order to navigate across tabs.
I'm experiencing a weird behavior and willing to understand the underlying technicality behind it.
The workbook is released on Tableau Server and sometimes running the action filter (menu) opens an extra browser tab: it keeps one tab with the selection and a new one with the target filtered view. However, some other times, the filter (menu) just run updating the active tab with the target filtered view. Why is this happening? Is it related to cache, session or something else?
Is there a way to force the behavior of always opening the extra browser tab, without using as a workaround the URL actions?
