I am looking to find a calculation that will pull in the volume / sales for a month (Ex November 2022) from the previous year (Ex. November 2021) even if that previous year's period is not selected in a filter. For Example in the screen shot below Aug 2022 - Nov 2022 would show volumes in the Previous Year Count from the 2021 periods. If I deselect months / year periods from 2021 the previous year volume would still show under Aug 2022 - Nov 2022.
sorry filters don't work that way - they eliminate data from the data table for the worksheet - once the data is filtered out it is no longer available for use on the sheet - see https://jimdehner.com/2022/01/29/6-types-of-filters-and-how-they-affect-the-data-table/ to understand how filters work
Consider using Sets or a Parameter and creating a current year and prior year filter based on the parameter value
