Hi,
I have four different questions with the same answers. Example “Have it improved production” and “Have it improved export”. The answers are “yes” and “no”. I now want to have 2 different segments of columns. One for “yes” and one for “no” with the different questions being different colors on each section. I have done this before in Excel which is simple, can you help me recreate the figure seen below. Don't mind the language, it's Danish.
In Tableau i got the 4 questions with all the same answers I just cant make it mach the goal figur.
Thank you for your help.
Good day Magnus,
I'd recommend using the pivot functionality in the data source window, and pivot the questions. This will change the "shape" of the structure so that each question is in the same column (Pivot Field Names) and the responses will be in their own column (Pivot Field Values).
To get your view, use the Pivot Field Values on the columns shelf, then pivot field names, with your measure on the rows. Does that help?
Best regards,
-Dan
