Hi Tableau community,
I hope you're all doing well. I am reaching out to this wonderful community because I have encountered a puzzling situation on my website, which offers medical billing services. Here's the scenario: our website analytics show a consistent number of visitors arriving at specific service pages, but the conversion rates don't quite add up. We're left wondering why some services receive more attention than others, yet the actual sign-ups for those services remain unexpectedly low.
I have checked the website thoroughly, and it appears that all forms and links are working properly, so there are no apparent technical issues. The content and user interface have been designed to be user-friendly, so there shouldn't be any obstacles to sign-ups.
Now, here's where I need your expertise. I'd love to hear your thoughts on how I can utilize Tableau to delve deeper into this scenario.
Hi @ajali fein,
As @Jim Dehner states above this is more of a website analysis issue than a direct Tableau question, but it is something that Tableau can help with depending on your setup.
Are you using Google Analytics on the site as the website analytics? That is one of the industry standards, which Tableau has a connector for. There are also a collected of pre-build 'Accelerator' dashboards that use can connect to your data to see it in Tableau without having to build from scratch.

You state that the visitors arriving on pages and the conversions on those items don't add up, you could do a comparison with products purchased and the landing pages to confirm that the landing pages are driving the product choice, and it is not a case of people buying different products than what they land on.
If you have CTAs on the pages or stages tracked between the landing and purchase, for example add to basket, you can also use that to see what stages people drop off and use that to compare your products.
