I get the below error when I'm trying to do that in Tableau Desktop
An error occurred while communicating with the data source
Authentication failed.
Error Code: 84223ADA
connect timed out
If I tried to do it in Tableau Prep will keep trying to connect for hours and nothing will happen.
I checked some post and says that by rebooting your PC, but I have done that and the problem is not fix
enabled the API access for the user and try to connect to Salesforce. Please request you to check with your salesforce administrator. Please follow the below community for your reference:
