In our Tableau Server we have lots of folders with subfolders and so on. Also some users are (luckily) very productive, but in case one has to open several workbooks from a specific path in Tableau Desktop, this can became a little bit exhausting.
So when I open "Tabeau Desktop > Server > Openworkbook", is there a way to go directly to "By project" instead of "My Workboos"?

At a user level they should only see the folders they have access to, which is generally done through permissions. This will ensure they don't see the full list of folders and subfolders that an administrator can see - is this what you are enquiring about ?
