Hi, I am switching laptop. How should I install Tableau on the new laptop? Thanks.

First, I would install Tableau in your new laptop and activate.

Then, I would install drivers, move workbooks, flows, custom palletes, shapes, etc from your old one to the new one. I would test everything is working. (Open some workbooks, publish a data source, a workbook). Create a dashboard from zero.

Finally, I would start tableau in the old laptop go to help menu and manage product keys. Then deactivate your Tableau Desktop.
