Hi,

I am trying to blend the data for two data sources (2 from tableau server) & one from excel sheet.

But the issue is filters are not working even its showing the two data are blended with common same columns. I am not able to filter out the data while using the secondary data sources for third secondary data. Please help

Blending takes place in the 6th step of the Order of Operation after all the context filters and dimension filters have been applied in steps 3 and 5 - see https://jimdehner.com/2022/01/29/6-types-of-filters-and-how-they-affect-the-data-table/ - at that point the data from the secondary sources are aggregated at the level of the link (blend relationship) and brought to the primary s an aggregate - the individual records are no longer accessible -

so you can create a blend relation at the level that you want to filter

Or you can create a parameter on the dimension you want to filter and create a separate filter ineach of your data sources based on the parameter value

    Thanks
