Hello , I want to extract applied filters on worksheet in tableau server .Is it possible to get details of applied filters in tableau server ? I want to pass filters as a parameters in python code .

Can I get the worksheet description in tableau server like which filters are being used and which options are selected in filters ? I want to export raw data from database based on filters which are being used in visuals of tableau worksheet using python code .

    Hi Krushita,

     

    The short answer is no, not really. The slightly longer answer is you might be able to pass the filters via URL and then use this in your python code, but that is a html solution, not a Tableau solution. Are you able to provide us further detail on what it is you are looking to do ?
