I don't know where to ask for help but this is my problem: I ran the last update for my tableau desktop, and now it doesn't start anymore. I wanted to know what best to do.
I was thinking to desinstall and resintall a new .exe but I was worried that my key product will still work ? So How to proceed to resinstall and desinstall regarding the licence key product ?
Maybe it's nothing, but I prefer to ask before doing it, just to be 100% sure I will not loose everything, Thansk a lot !

Hi @Ophélie Quinonero, OK I see what you mean... Mavis' suggestion could work. Try downloading a newer version (I have in the past had many versions installed on machine with the same product key, no issue) and hopefully if that works, then uninstall the old one (just to keep things clean!). You may need to check that the versions of desktop and server are compatible. For example on desktop I'm on 2021.1.7 and for server I'm on 2021.1.4 and they work fine together.
