How to populate all days even with null values in the data source rows

Hello,

I've been working on this problem for many days: the data source includes all days for the month of July 2018 (filtered by the filter CMCY = 1) and when 2 divisions/departments are shown together, all days are displayed with their proper color coding, HOWEVER after selecting either one of the other, only the days with data in the rows appear (see following screenshots).

I NEED ALL DAYS (FILTERED BY CMCY = 1) TO SHOW, REGARDLESS OF THE SELECTION OF THE DIVISION AND/OR DEPARTMENT

I cannot flag "Show Missing values" otherwise the color coding will be compromised, nor "Show empty rows" because it doesn't resolve my issue.

Any help would be much appreciated.
