I am a tableau creator license and i am trying to active creator license from tableau server and getting below error,
Product key is not a Tableau Server key. Visit the Tableau Customer Portal to obtain the correct key.
and when i use Offline activation method using generating offline.tlq file its giving me below error
We are unable to process your offline activation or deactivation file due to an unknown error. Please create a case with Tableau Technical Support (https://www.tableau.com/support/case). Please include the offline.tlq or return file as an attachment when creating the support ticket.

Are you trying to activate a new Creator license on your server? In that case, you need the license key that starts with TS..
The license key starting with TD is only for Desktop/Prep builder
