I'm trying to build a waterfall chart that is colored by a category dimension, but maintains the running total across the window. When I add the category to the color, it resets the running total by category which IS NOT the desired result. I've attached a sample workbook. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to adjust your table calc for the added dimension. Just go into edit table calc and click specific dimensions and add check for category.
