Hello, I'm relatively new to tableau and while creating the donut chart, I realised it only works if my total value (value in the middle of the donut) are positive. When my values are negative, nothing comes out. Is there any way to create a donut chart even though my total value is negative? If not, what are some other recommended charts to use?

 

My donut chart works perfectly well when the value in the middle ($157,823) is positive:

However, if my total value (-$316,066) is negative, it doesnt work:(

    I think a donut chart is a poor option if you have negative values. If all of the slices are negative, then it might be okay if you were to use ABS to get the absolute value of each, as long as you explicitly note that all values are negative, but I'd still recommend another method. Honestly, I think a simple bar chart like the following would probably be best:
