I have bunch of data coming from the same data source. I created multiple connections on this single data source because I need to leverage different facts which are all complex SQL joins.
When I clicked OK to create the 8th connection to the data source, the data connection keep loading the meta data for mins. I check my db connections are all good.
how to fix it and create multiple data connections?

No, I am not able to fix it.
I ended up recreate all the connections and measures.
