Hi All,

My boss has asked me to replicate some dashboard that he received from our global office. I have included a sample visual below.

Dashboard Chart Help

For the data in the gauge, I was able to use a bullet chart to create a similar visual. However, I need to re-create the second visual. Basically the large number represents a measure. Underneath it is a target/goal and the variance from it. The color represents whether or not we are hitting our goal. The line behind the number represents whether we are on an upward trend or downward trend based off of the prior period. Does anyone have any ideas on how to create something similar in Tableau? This dashboard is needed to present high level KPIs to management in a format that easily, quickly conveys if we are achieving our goals and what direction we are trending.

I appreciate any ideas or examples of visuals you have created.

Thanks!

Kayla

    Hi Kayla Repp,

    Welcome to the community.

It sounds like you've already made some progress on this task. It would be really helpful if you could provide us with a packaged workbook of your work so far (and data). More about this is available here:

Creating a .twbx file is outlined in Quick Start: Packaged Workbooks.

    Best regards,

    Dave.
