When users export data/crosstab from Tableau Server, certain characters gets garbled in the process. First of all the thousand separator which is a bit of a problem for anyone who wants to do some additional work in, say, excel.
Secondly local characters gets handled badly:
Suppose to look like this:
Our locale would be Norwegian but I expect German, French, Swedish, Danish etc. would have similar problems. Is there a trick/config to fix this? If not does anyone know what buttons to push with Tableau to get support for non US formats?

We have users spread over several countries with different system localizations, and are experiencing the same challenges exporting crosstabs.
