Hi everyone, I am using a custom shape as a symbol on a graph and I need to maintain the original colors of this particular shape, but still add colors to my other shapes. Right now, when I add colors, it is "overwriting" the colors of my custom shape. I am using 10.1.
"College B" needs to maintain its colors, as shown in my attached workbook. In the screenshot, this is what happens when I add color. My two other types of shapes get their correct colors, but College B unfortunately gets a color as well. Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you!

Probably the most straightforward way would be to just create all the shapes as custom. Make the blue circles and orange squares and include them with the Custom institution.
Another way would be to use a dual axis and some calculations to hide everything except the Custom shape on one axis and hide the custom shape on the other. I would definitely consider the first option above this approach.
