I have Cloudera 4.4 and Hive 0.10.0. It's a fresh install as I just downloaded from their website. I use no authentication but could not get it connected.
Do you have any suggestion on where to troubleshoot? I can login Cloudera GUI or ssh just fine so there must be network access and Cloudera must be working fine.

Hi Hoc,
You should look in the Hive server logs to see why the query failed. Unfortunately that information doesn't make its way to the ODBC driver to be reported to Tableau and logged in the Tableau log files.
