tableau reference line modify tooltip and text location

I have created a reference line for today's date using instructions provided in the video Create a Gantt Chart in Tableau - YouTube

 

My output looks like below

 

  1. It says "Today" multiple times. How can i change it so that "Today" appears only once
  2. Tool tip says "Minimum Day of Today() = Today". How could I change that to show just "Today"?

    Can you change the reference line to Scope: Entire Table?

    Hello!Can you change the reference line to Scope: Entire Table?You can then click on it and format it to align to top (imagine that's desired).

    Unfortunately you can't really format the tooltip on the reference line - this is something that's been highly requested! You could use a parameter instead as then it's nice and clean...but would require writing something to download your workbook, change your parameter for you, and re-publish (aka probably not worth it).
