Hi!
I am looking to calculate, for each item, how many NEW customers have purchased that item? New defined as there has been at least 180 between purchases of that SAME ITEM.
So, for example, if a customer has purchased a shirt two times, has there been 180 days between those two shirt purchases? If so, they are considered a new customer for shirts.
Example below:
In the example above, there would be 1 New customer for Shirt, and 2 new customers for Pants.
I would like my final output to be two columns: ITEM, and # OF NEW CUSTOMERS. The date would not be in the view and that has been the hiccup, so far. I am getting an error when combining an LOD with a table calc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Lauren
Hi Lauren,
The great news is your problem was cracked (finally). Also many thanks for your prompt reply to my earlier
email suggesting that I use the Last Date and 2nd Last Date only as It worked like a charm.
The above Visual was only possible thanks to the 3 formulas listed below:
Also for your reference I have attached the twbx file below and hope the above exercise helps to solve
your problem. Do let me know if you have any questions and once again thanks for posting such a fun,
wonderful and thought provoking problem. I have given it a 5 star rating (* * * * *). Best Wishes !
Sincerely,
Soumitra
