Incremental refresh of a table from JDE to Tableau Online. The data source refresh has been completing successfully without error however it appears that since the date it was published there is no incremental data actually being added (or it is incomplete).
As an example I can review the data by GL Date and the data ends on March 17th which is probably around the time that I published the data source set with an incremental refresh. The incremental refresh is set based on "GL Date".
Thoughts on how to troubleshoot this absent any error messages? Thanks in advance
Pretty sure I figured out the problem. The data set is coming from a SQL query off of one primary JDE table for general ledger transactions. I had setup the incremental refresh based on the general ledger date of the transaction originally. What I should have done (I think, still waiting for the data source refresh to complete) is use the system update date/time field which exists on this JDE table.
