Hello,
I am a newbie and I am sure I am doing something wrong.
In my column, have a date field that is filtered to only give the top 10 latest dates sorted descending.
In my row(s), I have summed actual values for a week and summed predicted values for a week. Both of these attributes have the same date field.
When I add these as rows using the sum measure and I click the "side-by-side" bar graph option, Tableau stacks my rows and then changes my date configuration. (see image1)
I have played around with it and I have managed to get close to what I need, but only by pressing and clicking buttons. See Image2.
Sadly, I can't figure out how to add the date to the second image. Can someone please help?
Thank you so much.
Matt
Hi,
To create side by side bar graph, use 'measure names' and 'measure values' fields in the Rows and Columns or vice versa. That way you'll be able to generate side by side bar graphs for all your measures.
Whichever measures you want to see as bars, just add them in 'measure values' card below the marks card.
Thanks,
Om Parekh.
