Every time I save my flow in Prep, I re-open and get error messages. It 'loses' the connection of the underlying data folder that is joined using a wildcard union. Here is a screen shot of one of the errors noted. The data is greyed out under connections because the folder I am trying to search in is missing.
I can go in and manually reconnect the data path to where the data is stored.
I tried to change the location of the repository to a folder on a shared drive where the underlying data is stored, but this did not work either.
Please advise what step I am missing ? Thanks!

What version of Tableau Prep are you leveraging? I would make sure you have upgraded to the latest version. I have seen some reports of this error, but the users were all using an early version of Tableau Prep 2018.2.1, the Tableau Dev team is constantly improving the product and I would suggest using the latest release.

Another troubleshooting step would be to try recreating the flow and see if the error occurs again.
