All,
I have a published workbook with an embedded data extract. The extract is set to refresh every week, but I do not see updated data in my workbook. The workbook has the correct data source permissions (see below), so I am not sure why the data in the published workbook is not refreshing.
As a note, there are multiple data sources in the workbook all connected to different views on the same remote server. All the data source extract are published on the tableau server.
The last run date on the tableau workbook shows the latest run date, and It is based on a calculated field - Max (last run date).
I tried refreshing the cache, but nothing seems to work.
I downloaded the workbook from the server, open the workbook on the tableau desktop, Go to the data source, and click on Automatically updates and the data, and the workbook is refreshed.
I tried the following things, but nothing seems to work:-
The specified item was not found.
I have checked the external link as they are used for displaying static images on the dashboard.
Tableau version 2018.3
Can someone please help, it is driving me crazy?
