How can I add leader lines (the red one as an example) connecting names to the dots in a dot chart? The Lines, Reference Lines and Drop Lines can't serve the purpose. Could you please enlighten me what are the difference between Lines, Reference Lines and Drop Lines? Thanks.

I'd suggest using a dual axis chart. Start by holding CTRL and dragging the measure over to duplicate it.
Then change the mark type on the first axis to Bar.
Then, on the same axis, change the size to something smaller.
Then right-click on the second pill on the columns shelf and choose "Dual Axis"
Finally, right click on the header/axis at the top and choose "Synchronize Axis"
