Send out dashboard browser link with pre-applied filter

Is this possible to send out a view with a particular filter applied?

 

Applying the filter and publishing the dashboard and sending the link isn't an option...

    Thanks Sankar,

     

    I notice when I apply the filter, all the other options dissapear.

     

    Is there a way to simply highlight the selected filter, as happens when I click the filter in the live browser environment? so the other options remain visible?
