How about a forum where people can post sample workbooks?
There are lots of great examples that people have posted over the years buried away in different threads in the various forums - but these don't tend to be easy to find when you want to refer back to them ("who was it posted that trick about how to do such and such a few months ago? Was it in Calculations or Dates & Times?"). And they're even less readily available to new users or infrequent users of the forums. So why not a forum where we can all post our favourite visualisations or samples showing handy tricks and tips?
I've seen that sort of approach work very well for sharing snippets of reusable code and suchlike in other online communities.
I'm sure Joe Mako, Michael Christiani and others amongst the regulars would give it a good kick start.
Did this ever happened? If so, I would like to know the location so I can run through some samples to try with the how different selection would look like.
